Gravity Conveyors
Gravity Roller Conveyor
Found in most conveyor systems, gravity roller conveyor
is a very common type of conveyor. This style of conveyor
uses gravity to propel an item along the conveyor line. The
package travels along on rollers which are commonly spaced
approzimately 3-6 inches apart. This style of conveyor is
best for use with flat-bottomed loads, however is typically
able to support a heavier load than skatewheel conveyor.

Skatewheel Gravity Conveyor
Skatewheel conveyors are another popular gravity fed conveyor
option. Like gravity roller conveyor, these conveyors use gravity
to move a load along a set path. Unlike roller conveyor however,
these conveyors use many small wheels (often called skatewheels)
to support the load. Skatewheel conveyor is typically better suited
for lighter loads with smooth bottoms. The skatewheels can be
made from a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, nylon or plastic.
